LUMINARY NIGHT HIKE

Take a beautiful walk on a self-guided luminary hike at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. This unique, after dark experience is free, entirely outdoors, and open to all ages. The refuge is closed after sunset beyond these special events. Please respect the socially-distant practices that are put in place for the enjoyment and safety of everyone.                                    Please do your part to keep yourself and others safe.

​VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Wanted: Front desk volunteers

When the Refuge visitor centers reopen, we'll need volunteers to serve at our front desks and at the Nature Store in Bloomington. This is an exciting opportunity to get to know your Refuge while ensuring visitors from all over the world have a positive experience both here and throughout the metro. Environmental education assistants

Volunteers are needed year-round to assist with Refuge environmental education programs for K-5 students. Volunteers are needed to help students with insect studies, hiking, seed collection and more. Please contact us at hello (at) mnvalleyrefugefriends.org to learn more.
