VOLUNTEER
There are many different reasons why people volunteer, whether it’s for career experience, love of wildlife and nature, or getting out of the daily routine. What will be your reason?  Volunteers provide their talents and energy to help in many different ways and are invaluable to us for all of the support they provide! By volunteering you'll gain knowledge about the Refuge and its purpose, and will become part of a community of people dedicated to the stewardship of wildlife and natural landscapes.  Volunteers are invaluable in making our organization work at events, community outreach, publicity or even in the Nature Store.  For more information on how to get involved, please call 952-858- 0737 or email us at hello (at) mnvalleyrefugefriends.org. We check messages and emails weekly.

No successful refuge gets by without a little help from its Friends. We represent a variety of interests, talents and financial support that allows the Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends to meet our mission and goals of engaging with others to further the appreciation, conservation and preservation of wild places for wild things for the benefit of the American people.  Click here for more details. 

INTRODUCE YOUTH TO THE REFUGE
Just $15 will send one student to the Refuge three times during a school year.  Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that receives its operational funding from its members.

CREATE A PARTNERSHIP
The National Wildlife Refuge System is committed to building partnerships that encourage conservation and protection of our natural and cultural resources. Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge works with multiple partners throughout the Minnesota River Valley.  More details here.
