Meet Your Wildlife Neighbors outreach trailer

​​The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge has received support from Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends, the Bosch Community Fund, the Urban Wildlife Conservation Program, and the MN Valley Trust Board to purchase and design a pop-up trailer for a traveling outdoor education program. This is an opportunity to bring the same outdoor education that we provide at the Refuge, out into the City!  Outreach activities include fishing, pond studies, insect surveys, wildlife scene investigators, and more.

Chen Can Blog: Journey to Explore Minnesota Valley

Hi, my name is Chen Can and I come from Chongqing China where I work as the manager of Nature Bridge, a non-government organization. I am spending two months here in the states learning about Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge and its Environmental Education program. Throughout my time here I will be shadowing the Environmental Education program as well as learning about how the visitor centers and interpretive programs are run. I am excited to learn about all that Minnesota Valley has to offer and look forward to bringing the knowledge I gain from my time here back to Chongqing!
